EXCELLENT ORGANIC BOUTIQUE STAY, HUNTER, NUBRA VALLEY.
Organic Boutique stay home is situated in Hunter , Nubra Valley. Surrounded by its own Vegetative land with Excellent Accommodation. Very neat and clean room, Clean Linen. The vegetables grown in the field around are BIO. Those vegetables are cooked and served. No servants. Only the Owner and his family are only care takers. Excelke t Hospitality. Excellent Service.

Beware your confirmed booking is canceled last minute despite personal assurance by the owner
We were a group of three families and had booked this place 2 months in advance on 28th May 2022 through our travel agent Valley Trip Planner. We had booked 2 double deluxe rooms and one single deluxe room for 2 nights, 29th and 30th July 2022.Alarmed by the reviews on TA that they cancel your room and give it to somebody else, I called up the owner phone number 9149585895 on 13th July to confirm our booking, he told me that on day 1, the booking was for 2 rooms and 1 tent and on day 2, it was for 3 rooms. I asked him if he had changed our booking, he said that on day 1 he had only 2 rooms available so he would instead give us one tent and 2 rooms. He asked for my agent’s phone number and informed them about the same. Within 10 minutes, my agent called me and asked me if it was okay. I consulted the other families and informed my agent that it was ok. So for day 1, 2 rooms and 1 tent and for day 2, 3 rooms was confirmed.I once again called up the owner, on 24th July, to confirm this booking and he confirmed the same, so imagine my horror when on reaching the property at 6 pm after a long drive I was informed by the 2 attendants of the property that on day 1, they can give me only 2 rooms, no tent.I protested as I had personally spoken to the owner and confirmed my booking twice.The owner did not reply my repeated calls. He later answered my call and denied everything, which was very unprofessional on his part. He asked me why I had booked through the agent and why not directly through him, which was absurd as I had done all my hotel booking through this agent in Leh, Kargil, Pangong and there was no problem anywhere. He had also spoken to my agent earlier so he was only coming up with lame excuses to cover up. I called my agent, who was miffed by the unprofessional attitude of the owner and offered to change my booking but as we were tired, we decided to stay there itself as we were assured a separate room or tent for the next day.As for the food it was strictly okay. This place has no separate reception area, only 2 young men operate from the small restaurant. They are quite sincere but helpless as the owner is known to cancel booking last minute.This place is over hyped so beware before you book it and be prepared for last minute cancellation of your booking.

Great stay at the homestay
Stayed during October 2021. Organic boutique is a beautiful homestay at a relatively small village called hunder where you can visit for the sand dunes, double hump camel safari and turtuk village (border with Pakistan). The hoestay has been beautifully managed by the owners who reside in the property itself. One of the staff named Sumit was also very helpful. The property has 24/7 running hot water and electricity/wifi. Breakfast and dinner were both served hot and were delicious. Also, the river is 20 minutes walk away from the property.Do give it a try if you’re ever visiting Hunder.

Awesome Stay, Food and Family
It was unlike a hotel. It was rather a place where you can mingle with the host to share the road side stories, and experience. Mr Tashi told us many more stories of the world which was unknown to us.Rooms were tidy and clean, and food was really awesome. All in all, it was an above the world experience to us.

A home at the edge of the world
To stay in Organic boutique stay Hunder was surely the most humbling experience. I would count it as a blessing that somewhere along the edge in the map of India we witnessed how sweet hospitality can be , how the taste of home cooked food made with so much of love and tenderness not only satiates your hunger but relaxes you from the tiredness of the entire day. Mr. Tashi Tsen and his wife are two beautiful hosts, they cook fresh organic food not to mention the vegetables are plucked from the garden itself. They serve piping hot food and it’s really beautiful to see how they manage to do this everyday in all their meals. We highly recommended all travellers to really experience what true care for guests really means through these people actions and hospitality.

A must stay for a wholesome experience!
We had an impromptu plan of staying one day in hunder and we started from Sumur in the morning. We first booked a hotel in the morning over the call looking at the 4+ star ratings and amazing reviews but when we checked there we didn’t like the place at all and infact felt the pictures were deceptive. Still don’t know how it garnered such reviews btw. Anyways, this is the day when we planned to witness perseid meteor shower at its peak and we were pretty excited and was looking for an apt place to enjoy the view. After dropping the plan to stay at that hotel we went to look for the accommodation randomly as a walk-in and came to Organic boutique homestay. The moment we entered and met the owner Tashiji we were like this is the place. Sometimes its not about staying in luxury but more about the surroundings, experience & people. We couldn’t be more happy with our stay and wish we could stay one more day but unfortunately had to leave for further plan. Tashiji and their amazing cook Sumitji who was more like a family member made our stay super memorable. They go beyond to help you and make you feel comfortable and welcome. This is what you need. And the homestay location was so scenic that you will definitely love it. Do take a walk around and you will feel you are in a scene out of a movie. @Tashiji Thank you for the amazing hospitality🙏@Sumitji You definitely are an amazing cook. You add taste to even the simplest of the things :) We highly recommend this place to have a wholesome experience.

A stay to remember – Thanks to Mr. Tashi and his wife
Nice spacious property close to the dunes of Hunder. This place has large rooms with balconies overlooking the mountains and the garden, with lots of trees surrounding the property. The rooms had thorough arrangements for heating and water supply.But most of all, I am highly thankful to Mr Tashi and his wife for making our stay memorable. I have been to many homestays and have interacted with many hosts, but never I had found the level of hospitality and friendliness when it comes to taking care of your guests. The best part of the place was the common room where we would have dinner and chat for hours. The food was sumptuous and homecooked and I could see how they find joy in serving food to their guests!! It has etched to my memory forever. They even offered us the apricots from their garden when we were leaving the property. Try their butter tea and the local wine called Chaang!!

Home away from home!
This is one stay which will remain etched in my mind. Tashi ji and his wife were the epitome of hospitality and friendliness. They cooked us great food and took care of our stay even during the harsh winters of January. From hot water to heated cozy rooms, everything was available here. They even offered us the local Tibetan wine called “Chaang” which is a must-have for any travellers here. Loved the conversations with the host during dinner in the common area where they served us food themselves. Post dinner go for a small stroll or look up and gaze at the stars which you can also see from your balcony too. If you are lucky, you may also spot the fine smoky belt in the sky which is our very own milky way!!We are thankful for taking care of us. Would definitely recommend this place to people who enjoy local experience.

We loved!
Mr Tashi and his wife were very friendly and helpful. They cooked us great food all the time, took care of everything and ensured we had a comfortable stay.Things we loved:1. Mr Tashi and his wife worked really hard to ensure a comfortable stay for all the guests.2. They have a beautiful garden with fruits and vegetables.3. Our rooms had balconies and windows offering great views. I could capture stars at night.4. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and nice.5. Hot water was available in the tap and in the shower.6. Balconies had tables and chairs.7. Wifi worked fine.8. We were able to drink milk from their cow.9. Food was good.10. They gave us apples from their orchard when we left. Apples were really really good.11. The property is in good location. We enjoyed our walk around the property.12. It was peaceful.

Great property in Hunder
The property is in Hunder, around 2 kms from the sand dunes of Hunder.This is a nice spacious property with large rooms. The rooms on the 1st floor also have balconies. The rooms have TV with cable connection and hot water is available in the bathroom. The property has an excellent and large farm with apple-laden trees, an apricot tree and variety of vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, onions, carrots, maize etc. which are used to prepare dinner.The dinner provides very good vegetarian food, though it is limited in variety. The owner of the property is very nice and affable.The manager, Ashwani is an extremely helpful and resourceful manager, a great asset to the property. A few minor negatives:Bedsheets and pillow covers were not very clean, however, Ashwani got them replaced promptly. There are a few moths in the room and the bathroom in the evening. Though the property has Wifi, it rarely works.Overall, our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. Will not hesitate to stay here again in a relatively remote place like Hunder.
